Job Description

M3C is searching an incorporated consultant in ESG Support Systems Analyst (ID615).The contact is for 12 months and could be renewed.It’s required to be working in the Toronto office at least 3 days a week.The client is in the mining field. **You need to be incorporated.Briefly : The person will be responsible for the support and maintenance of several applications as well as analyzing, implementing, supporting and upgrading the software. This role will be a dedicated resource to users to ensure timely resolution and provide exclusive support in their day-to-day operations.Reporting to the ESG Lead Analyst the role will be responsible for communicating interruptions in system availability and managing the implementation of all major upgrades.In addition, the analyst will also support technology-related initiatives or tasks on an as needed basis, and act as a back up to team members when necessary.Global travel will be required to ensure effective adoption and sustainability of the system.Responsibilities:Applications Support (50%):

  • Ensures that the Systems are setup and configured to streamline the need effectively;
  • Manage software patches as required;
  • Develop reports and dashboards;
  • Understand user needs and proactively provide solutions;
  • Perform development, documentation, test and implementations phases;
  • Provide support and training to users;
  • Grant and update users security roles;
  • Support interfaces related to ESG;
  • Validate data and fix errors;
  • Keep support and projects documentation up to date;
  • Travel to sites as required to support users and to ensure long term sustainability of the platforms may be required.
ESG Analysis (50%):
  • Actively supporting IT projects, (mostly related to ESG);
  • Provide backup support to team members as required;
  • Participate in technology initiatives and projects as required.
RequirementsRequirements:
  • Successful completion of post-secondary education in computer science or demonstrated aptitude/experience in technology support;
  • Experience of working with ESG applications (asset);
  • Experience of working with JDE (asset);
  • Work experience in mining industry (asset);
  • Work experience in Healthamp; Safety (asset);
  • Work experience in Environment (asset);
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;
  • A self-starter with the creativity to solve problems both independently and collaboratively;
  • Ability to learn new concepts, systems, and software independently and quickly;
  • Proven ability to work with all levels of an organization;
  • Must be able to communicate with non-technical and technical users simultaneously;
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the capability to produce clear and effective documentation;
  • Demonstrated sound technical judgment and make important decisions in a timely manner;
  • Commitment to confidentiality and security;
  • English required, French and Spanish an asset.
