Position: Yard Maintenance / General LabourLocation: Kings CountyHoward Little Excavating Ltd. is a locally owned Annapolis Valley company that has continued to grow over the past 45 years. We specialize in sewer, water and road construction as well as excavation for residential, commercial and industrial buildings covering Kings, Annapolis and Hants Counties. To apply for the General Laborer position, please note the following:Responsibilities:• Follow established safe work practices, operating policies and procedures• Working on various projects independently, mowing, general yard maintenance etc.• Various manual labour duties, deliveries and maintenance around various properties• Level earth to fine-grade specifications using rakes and shovels - summer• Preparation/clean-up of worksite(s) as required• Able to load small loads with skid steer onto customer vehicles Qualifications:1. Candidate should be in good physical condition2. Candidate should have experience working in construction3. The motivated candidate should be able to equally perform alone and in a team environment4. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license and his or her own mode of transportation5.
