Job DescriptionA Day in the Life:PRT is currently recruiting a flexible part-time Cold Storage Specialist to work at PRT Big River Cold Storage in Big River, SK. The Cold Storage Specialist is responsible for the organization of stock and for moving stock in and out of cold storage.Candidates should have a desire to learn about forest seedling cold storage and shipping, work independently and efficiently. The position is most active from October to December (receiving shipments) and from May to June (thawing and shipping to field planters) and may be combined with cold storage monitoring duties through the active cold storage months (October to June).Key accountabilities of the Cold Storage Specialist are:

• Shipping and receiving
• Keep neat, detailed, and accurate records including computerized record keeping systems and data entry.
• Monitor stock quality and inventory
• Thawing stock prior to shipping
• Communicating and building relationships with customers and PRT Customer Support Representatives

About the team:The Cold Storage Specialist will work alongside Nursery Workers and will report directly to the Prince Albert Nursery Manager.
