Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated team member to join our IT Team in the role of Network Administrator, with specialization in infrastructure, cloud & security, and supporting system projects & integrations in a highly secure environment.The Role & Responsibilities: - Set up, configure, and support internal and external networks- Develop and maintain all systems, applications, security, and network configuration- Monitor system and network health reports and investigate as required- Excellent troubleshooting skills in a multiple subnet environment a must- Recommend upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment- Work in a collaborative environment with daily support tasks ranging incomplexity and severity- Customer service skills and excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to provide training for users- Provide the user community with notifications regarding system-wide events that may impact their day-to-day work- Be available for after-hours on-call support in rotation.- Excellent documentation skillsExperience and Qualifications: - Technical diploma/degree in a related field a preference- 5+ years networking experience in a multiple location environment- Ability to conduct systems analysis and translate user requirements into business solutions- Extensive Windows server Knowledge including 2012 and VMWare in a clustered environment- Experience in the administration and support of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy- Microsoft 365 and Microsoft SQL server- Working knowledge of SQL and Visual Basic or C#- Experience with firewalls (Sonicwall preferred), active directory environments, VPN, Vlans, VOIP, SAN and server virtualization- Preference will be given to candidates with MCSEHP and/or Cisco networking an asset- Experience contributing and upholding security policies and best practices- Experience working in a highly secure environment with the utmost regard for security and privacy- Capable of troubleshooting complex technical problems- Proven ability in interpreting and developing complex network diagramsOur Offer: - Competitive wages- On-Call Compensation Plan- Full benefits package including health and dental- Retirement Savings Plan and company matched contributions- On-Call Compensation PlanAbout Steve’s Livestock TransportFounded in 1987, Steves Livestock Transport has grown to become North Americas largest commercial livestock transportation company.As a community leader and an industry leading employer, Steves Livestock Transport is committed to establishing an inclusive workplace that values and promotes diversity.
