We pride ourselves on a business culture that enables open, creative thinking, and we deeply value our employees and their contributions towards our clients success, as well as our own.Job Summary: Due to the strong growth and success of Altair HyperWorks in the Canadian market, Altair Canada is searching for a French Bilingual Account Manager with experience selling PLM software to Fortune 1000 OEM’s and their suppliers. Working out of Altair Canada’s Montreal office, the new Account Manager will be responsible for the adoption and sale of Altair’s products and solutions which help customers achieve Simulation-Driven Innovation® in their product development, engineering and design processes. The Account Manager will be responsible for driving sales from initial contact to implementation and delivery within their geographical territory and at specific customers.What You Will Do:

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets across key Altair product platforms
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of sales opportunities
  • Cultivate and manage new sales opportunities from initial contact to close
  • Identify and introduce new solutions to existing Altair customers
  • Coordinate sales activities with internal Application Engineering, Product Development, and Marketing teams
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key economic and technical stakeholders
  • Remain knowledgeable about Altair’s new and existing software and services offerings
  • Learn and understand key client needs on an ongoing basis
  • Develop and customize presentations
  • Manage both commercial and technical objection handling and problem resolution, including price negotiations
  • Gather and share competitive information within region and accounts
  • Ensure regular, disciplined CRM usage to update pipeline, sales forecast, and opportunity, account and contact management
What You Will Need: Basics:
  • At least 3 plus years of Technical Sales experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Science discipline
  • Canadian citizenship or Permanent Resident status
  • Self-motivated and energetic
  • Ability to understand and formulate solutions based on customer needs
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills (French Bilingual)
  • Willingness to travel regularly within assigned territory
  • Ability to coordinate and work well with other sales professionals
  • Technically astute and able to comprehend engineering and design challenges faced by prospective customers
  • Strong work ethic, and motivated to work in a high performing, results-oriented environment
