Job Description

As an accounting technician, you will be responsible for managing the organizations cash receipts, accounts payable and receivable. You will also participate in month-end and fiscal year processes.This is a 12 months replacement.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations;
  • Reconcile and verify invoices with purchase orders and receipts;
  • Perform data entry (payable and receivable) in the ERP system;
  • Collect from customers;
  • Prepare payments by check and/or electronic transfer;
  • Perform various accounting entries;
  • Participate in the preparation of month-end and fiscal year files (balance sheet / income statement);
  • Prepare various management reports, reconciliations, and analysis for internal and external purposes;
  • Tax returns (GST and QST);
  • Occasional payroll support.
REQUIREMENTS
  • DEC in accounting or finance;
  • Minimum three years of relevant experience in a similar position;
  • Bilingualism (French/English);
  • Good problem-solving skills and developed organizational skills;
  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • Knowledge of the Office suite and ERP systems.
ASSETS
  • Knowledge of Vlookup and pivot tables;
  • Knowledge of payroll;
  • Ability to perform accounting for multiple entities.
