  • Employment Type: Full time, permanent, daytime, Monday to Friday

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform all tasks associated with the buyer role, such as creating and modifying purchase orders, follow-ups of expeditions, duty fees verification, etc.
  • Analyze and forecast demand based on historical data and discussions with sales
  • Update and maintain information related to orders and shipments in database
  • Monitor and update orders and shipment progress
  • Filing and archiving of documents related to procurement
  • Plan deliveries to sites and coordinate them with warehouses
  • Analysis and creation of Excel reports related to procurement
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
  • Post-secondary education in procurement, supply chain management, logistics, operations management, administration or equivalent
  • Bilingual (English and French) required, oral and written
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Procurement experience required
  • Logistics experience, an asset
  • Superior communication skills, oral and written
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • High capacity to work collaboratively in a team
  • Strong organizational and coordination abilities
  • Analytical mind, proactive and solutions oriented
  • Ability to work well in an evolving environment
  • Integrity, passion, professionalism and initiative
