Job Description

Accounting TechnicianBolton,CANAluma Systems, Inc., a Brand Energy and Infrastructure Services company, delivers high-efficiency concrete formingand shoring solutions to projects ranging from hotels and stadiums to airports and power plants. Brand operates underthe highly respected name Aluma Systems in the Infrastructure Services market. We are presently seeking an AccountingTechnician for our Bolton Branch.At AlumaSafway, we not only challenge our employees but also reward them for exceeding expectations.   • Perform general accounting duties (including basic journal entries)
  • Responsible for cash application, daily deposits and batch processing as required
  • Creates purchase requisitions for non-inventory items (i.e. office supplies)
  • Verifies quality and receipt of non-inventory items
  • Enters all A/P vouchers
  • Makes routine collection calls as required
  • Audit all Shipping/Receiving paperwork generated by Operations
  • Summarize damage report generated by Operations on a regular basis
  • Manage and monitor open POs and to perform regular clean up
  • Correspond with vendors on payment status of invoices
Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education preferred, combined with a minimum of 3 years’ related accounting experience
  • Must be bilingual in French and English
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills essential
  • Computer proficient: Microsoft Office (MS Word and Excel)
