Key Requirements
  • Must be able to work rotating shift schedules
  • Must be able to commute to Bolton
Responsible for the assembly of machines and related equipment with a focus on high quality standards and on-time delivery commitments to customers.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:Assemble, fit and install pre-fabricated parts and sub assemblies to form completed system while maintaining high quality levelsRead and work from engineering drawings and schematics to determine assembly proceduresUse hand and power tools as well as material handling equipment, such as cranes and forklifts, to fit and install parts and sub-assembliesReview parts received for quality and accuracy to the bill of materialComplete tasks on schedule and according to established quality standardsSuggest modifications or changes to parts or procedures for continuous improvement initiativesResponsible for reporting problems or issues as well as non-conformancesDemonstrate superior housekeeping in work area plantUnderstand and follow all health and safety procedures including safe operation of equipmentWork effectively with other technicians to achieve production and quality goalsProvided positive and proactive input to Development Engineering Project/Design reviewsCORE COMPETENCIES:IntegrityTroubleshooting/Problem Solving/CreativityFlexibilityInitiative/Motivation.Communication Skills – Verbal/Written/Presentation.TeamworkAttention to Detail.Environment, Health & Safety.TECHNICAL/PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
