Key Requirements
  • Must be able to work rotating shift schedules
  • Must be able to commute to Bolton
Assemble, fit, and install manufactured components and sub-assemblies to form completed systemsKEY RESPONSIBILITIES/AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:Essential tasks or functions that are fundamental to the jobAssemble, fit and install pre-fabricated parts and sub-assemblies to form completed systems (including mechanical, electrical and hydraulic). Assemble prototype custom equipment and complex systems and/or create and refine assembly proceduresDetermine assembly procedures through the interpretation of engineering drawings and schematicsEnsure Huskys productivity and quality standards are met. Conduct root cause analysis and problem solve quality issues. May also provide field support to customersDrive continuous improvement initiatives and make recommendations to EngineersCross train in other areas within the business as required. Transfer and share knowledge with other team membersTECHNICAL/PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:Proficiency in using basic hand tools, crane and forklift experience. Able to use, replace and maintain basic toolingAdvanced knowledge and skills in more than one of the following areas: hydraulics, mechanics or electrical assembliesAble to lift minimum of 35 lbsAble to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics and/or engineering drawings as requiredStrong problem solving and customer relation skillsQUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or high school equivalency and mechanical aptitude required. College diploma or certificate in related studies preferredRELATED EXPERIENCEApprox. 5+ years of relevant work experience in manufacturing preferredHusky Injection Molding Systems offers a competitive compensation and benefits package and excellent opportunities for growth and advancement.
