They will work to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing. Experience working with Great Plains and TMW software would be considered an asset for this role.QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS3-5 years of experience working in an Accounts Payable role is preferredCompletion of post-secondary studies in related field would be considered an assetStrong verbal and written English communication skillsAbility to work with and manage confidential information and use independent judgmentProficient with the use of a computer, including but not limited to the use of Microsoft Office Software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Experience working with TMW and Great Plains software would be considered an assetAbility to communicate effectively with others and work as a member of a teamProven leadership skills, with the ability to liaise with all levels of staff to achieve department objectivesStrong ability to multi-task and effectively manage work requirementsExperience working within the transportation industry would be considered an assetESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTrack documents received from the bankAnalyze document discrepanciesUpload documents from banking systemsRecord payment of documents using Great Plains softwarePrepare supplier charge-back requirements as instructedComplete, as assigned, monthly bank reconciliations in Great PlainsRecord recurring bank transactions using Great Plains softwareComplete, as assigned, monthly sub-ledger and general ledger reconciliationsCorrespond with suppliers and bank contacts regarding documentsCommunicate with customers regarding advice of payment processingVerify the data input in the accounting system to ensure accuracyComplete necessary administrative functions, which may include the use various general office equipment (photocopiers, scanners, etc.)Maintain and update filing and database systemsAdhere to all Titanium Transportation Group Inc. service standards and policies, including Health & SafetyWork in compliance with the provisions of Occupational Health and SafetyPerform all other duties as assignedTitanium Transportation Group Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
