Job Description

WORLDPAC Canada is seeking a Credit Team Lead – Bolton, ONWORLDPAC, a subsidiary of Advance Auto Parts, imports and distributes original equipment and quality replacement automotive parts to select specialty import and domestic service centers.What we have to offer:

Summary of
  • Reconciliation of past due balances, with clear and concise communication to our customers, sales staff, and management to resolve disputed balances.
  • Involved in reviewing the A/R portfolio to specifically identify and recommend accounts for Bad Debt write off for manager approval.
  • Support cash applications, new account applications and other functions within the credit team as needed
  • Credit hold review and order releases per company policy guidelines
  • Serve as the “super-user” for all Collection areas; collaborate with Commercial/Sales teams and Collections functions to assist with escalated issues
  • Foster better efficiency among all Collection team members and processes
  • Assist with the onboarding and training of new team members
  • Serves as back-up to Credit Manager as needed
  • Special projects as assigned
Successful Candidate must:
  • 5+ years experience in a credit and collections or customer facing role
  • Significant attention to detail
  • Strong analytical capabilities
  • Excellent communicator with exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent negotiation & problem-solving skills
  • Team player willing to help others through training, mentoring, and motivating staff to achieve Department and Company goals
  • Customer Service Mentality; ability to build collaborative relationships with customers and internal business partners (Finance, Commercial, Accounting)
  • High Level of Accountability
  • Results Orientation
Technical Experience:
  • Exposure to AS400 accounts receivable systems, a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
