Job Description

Location: 100 Pillsworth Road, Bolton ON. L7E 4G8Shift : Thursday - Sunday 5:00am - 3:30pmPosition Purpose:In this role you will be responsible for dealing with all the problem freight that arrives in the Problem Resolution / Inventory Control Department and processing Customer Returns. Your role will include completing many series of investigations to resolve problem freight; raising IT support tickets for systematic fixes; maintaining the flow of product in the department; Sku and location set up, daily cycle counting, zero-short pick investigation, helping in slotting article, coordinating across multiple departments when an issue affects alternate areas of the DC; setting up returns and preparing manual BOL paperwork for vendors; performing all the functions of a General Warehouse Associate if needed to complete your task: receiving, transporting, processing, palletizing, loading, etc.Position Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to internal distribution teams and to our customers by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner
  • Perform all GWA functions (receiving, order selection, processing, palletizing, lift truck operations and loading of products) when needed
  • Work safely, productively and accurately with minimal supervision
  • Safely operate various types of material-handling equipment (i.e. forklift with pacer attachment or electric pallet jack [EPJ]) in order to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, staging and transporting product
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
  • Previous Distribution / Transportation experience is an asset
  • Experience operating a forklift (with pacer attachment), High Reach & EPJ is an asset
  • Able to lift up to 69 pounds
  • Computer-literate; experienced with MS Office (including MS Outlook)
  • Able to stand and do repetitive computer work for many hours
  • Ability to work well with others in a group and foster a team climate where members are committed to a common set of performance goals and targets
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent listening skills; follows instructions carefully and promptly
  • Able to work under high amounts of pressure in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Experienced with WMS/SAP/RF systems an asset.
  • High organizational skills and great at prioritizing issues
