If you are attracted to bold goals, believe in uncompromising honesty, support mutual respect, care about environmental responsibility, have a passion for excellence and a desire to make a positive contribution – then we want you to join the Husky team!The Logistics/Order Processing coordinator is responsible for scheduling inbound shipment booking for all Husky suppliers in accordance with Husky’s Purchase Orders and part in house data. This role will be involved with coordinating and arranging transportation of supplier shipments for Husky’s global manufacturing network, including facilities located in Asia, Europe, and North America. In addition, this role will be communicating and liaising with internal Husky stakeholders across all regions as well as Husky’s logistics partners, including air, ocean, and ground transportation providers.RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Scheduling inbound bookings from all Husky suppliers in accordance with Husky’s Purchase Orders and part in house data.
  • Escalate purchase orders to Sourcing specialist as required to meet the parts in house date.
  • Coordinate direct shipments from suppliers to Husky and from suppliers to customers (cross trade, domestic and international)
  • Executes booking and sends booking confirmation and pick-up details to supplier
  • Reviews sailing schedule and verifies with carrier that PO will be shipped on the correct sailing
  • Responds to supplier with booking confirmation and pick-up details.
  • Supporting Logistics with all inbound PO management
  • Maintaining daily liaison with Husky Logistics team members and carriers to ensure continuity of inbound shipments
  • Awareness of all international shipping regulations is an asset
  • Utilize the system information to assist our suppliers in booking orders, support with related inquiries
  • Maintain ‘Purchase management tool,’ confirm PO is resolved and earlier booking has been arranged (close-loop).
  • Track and trace to ensure all orders are booked through carriers.
  • Administrative task such as filing and updating internal logbooks, data entry and record keeping
  • Work closely with regional Sourcing Specialist and Logistics teams to ensure prompt, accurate service for all supplier requests
  • Ensuring optimum service levels for suppliers and internal customers
  • Any other duties assigned by department team leader
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Post-Secondary Education (College Diploma or University Degree) preferred or 1-2 years of International Business or Logistics relevant experience
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English, secondary and tertiary language skills a strong asset
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with great attention to detail
  • Able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Self-motivated. Must be able to work independently and as a team in a high-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with suppliers and internal customers
  • Must be available to work some rotational shifts as well as support on weekends and after hours
  • Experience using MS Office (Outlook, Excel and Word) required
  • Proficiency or knowledge to work in Baan LN, Baan 4 and/or AX is an asset
  • Knowledge of applicable international shipping regulations is an asset
  • Previous Customer support experience considered an asset
