Job Description

Logistics Customer Service Representative The primary responsibility is to ensure that products are shipped timely and accurately to Customers. Reviews Customers orders, verifies products availability. Monitors the status of the order and sets shipping date, plans pickup and delivery, informs Customer. Monitors FDA and informs Customer.RESPONSIBILITIES: · Receives Customer Orders and enters them in the system· Checks availability of the ordered items if available proceed with booking for the date requested by customer if product not available coordinates with Logistic Planner shipping date and time.· Notifies Customer of any discrepancy – shortage of product, delay of the shipment.· Checks inventory of the products and responds to Customer enquiry· Makes arrangements for pick-up and delivery and updates Shipping schedule accordingly· Makes the arrangement for Phyto Certificate with QA· Prepares Picklist and ensures that orders are shipped as scheduled· Prepares Custom Invoice and distribute them accordingly· Fille hard copies (Invoice, BOL, Picking Sheet, PO, Custom Invoice) by Customer for Company record.· Update record of CHEP pallets and post on CHEP Pallets website.· Follows up closely on the shipments crossing the border, checks FDA status and notifies Customer· Dealing with Customs broker on all matters· Improves efficiency, quality, and service of ongoing work by identifying process improvements· Negotiating the freight cost· Greeting Guests and notifying parties of guest arrivalREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge, skills & abilities: · Strong interpersonal skills and human relation skills

  • Attention to details and good time management
· Ability to manage multiple tasks with confidence and with minimum supervision· Minimum 3 years’ experience as a logistics Coordinator· Experience using Excel and other Microsoft programs· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.Perks: · Salary: $55-65K· 2 weeks vacation· 5 personal days· Benefits after 3 monthsWe thank all applicants, only those who qualify will be contactedJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per yearSchedule:

  • Logistics - Shipping Agent: 3 years (preferred)
  • Invoice, BOL, Picking Sheet, PO, Custom Invoice: 3 years (preferred)
