• Ensuring material is actually stored in inventory and delivered to the appropriate production assembly / stage location;
• Inspecting incoming material and, if required, following the Damaged Incoming Goods procedure;
• Transferring items physically, from cart to shelf, and to work cells in assembly;
• Responding to inquiries from Assembly Technicians by utilizing basic Baan (MRP system) skills;
• Participate in Continuous Improvement activities, which may include but not limited to; warehouse inventory reconfiguring, cleaning, painting and general housekeeping.

TECHNICAL/PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally across all levels of the organization
• Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple pressing issues at a time.
• Self-start and team player
• Life Truck Certification an asset
• Overhead Crane Certification an asset

RELATED EXPERIENCE

• 1 to 3 years of Material Handling experience in a Manufacturing environment
