Inside/Outside Sales RepresentativeJob SummaryDevelop new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales utilizing knowledge of core customers and Bolts Plus product line. Responsible to profitably grow sales to achieve yearly sales goals as a sales consultant for current core industries and emerging industries and markets; responsible for prospecting for new accounts, retaining existing accounts, and increasing opportunities with existing customer.Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
  • Provides exceptional customer service by greeting and interacting with customers. Upsells by identifying related products, add-on extensions and making customers aware of product promotions.
  • Develops relationships and partnerships and establish Bolts Plus Inc.as a First Choice Supplier to our customers.
  • Analyzes our market and champions sales initiatives to increase overall market share and profitability.
  • Receives, researches, and answers customer questions regarding accounts, products, rates and services offered, via telephone or in person.
  • Engages with both counter customers and phone customers to fully identify needs, respond to inquiries or questions, and offer timely solutions. Communicates product features, benefits, and warranty policy information to customers.
  • Processes orders, quotes prices, enters orders into the system and provides order information to customers. Pull orders as required.
  • Restocks store merchandise as needed. Arranges stock on shelves or racks in sales area and keeps merchandise in order. Maintains showroom cleanliness.
  • Makes deliveries in a company vehicle.
Conducts on-site customer visits with new and existing customersManages sales volume with an existing group of customers, prospects successfully to expand the customer baseForecasts, prospects, and bids for new business to include customers, markets, and additional service opportunitiesMaintains existing and builds new customer partnershipsDevelops and sustains sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers on all levels of an organizationShares market and competitor information with all applicable channels within the organization; establishes relationships and working partnershipsPartners with customers, vendors, Credit, and A/R to quickly resolve customer service issuesIdentifies customer products needs and coordinates execution of ordersMay conduct negotiations with suppliers, vendors and manufacturersAssists in training or mentoring of associatesNature and ScopeDemonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information, inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/dataNature of work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusual complex problems or issuesWork review typically involves periodic review of output by supervisor and/or direct customers of the processMay provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support personnel or professional personnelWork EnvironmentOccasional heavy lifting as requiredMinimum QualificationMust be eighteen years of ageEducation and ExperiencePost-Secondary Education, Diploma or Degree in Business or related field preferredThree (3) years outside sales experience with a successful track record in a customer service and/or related field; industry experience preferredCritical Competencies to Drive Business ResultsStrong team player with a “can-do attitude and passion for excellenceHunter mentalityExceptional communication skills and well-developed interpersonal skillsStrong appreciation for excellence in customer service is a MUSTReliable, confidential, and conscientiousStrong initiative and ability to handle increasing responsibility over timeExcellent time management/organizational skills with ability to meet important deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detailStrong strategic thinking and analytical skillsStrong business acumen and sense of urgencyPositive attitude, ability to work with a high level of energy and focusPreferred QualificationsPoint of sales (POS) system or consultative selling/solution selling experience is requiredKnowledge of customer business needsKnowledge in Bolts Plus Inc. product line and core customersWholesale distribution experience, specifically experience with Fasteners, an assetProficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) with knowledge of Streamline an assetJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $17.00-$19.00 per hourBenefits:
