• Perform outside plant aerial line construction of fibre cables by using cable lashing machines, bucket trucks, ladders and other climbing and lineman equipment
• Perform testing and troubleshooting when required
• Work directly with project coordinators to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Organize and plan activities as detailed on work orders and meet schedules.
• Adhere to company and industry safety requirements
• Setting up and maintaining a safe working environment
• Maintain inventory required for daily activities
• Assist with fibre optic cable pulls through confined space chambers, ground level box and other telecom infrastructures.

Skills & Qualifcations:

• 1-3 Years of lineman experience in a telecommunications environment
• 1-3 Years operating bucket truck and using climbing equipment for installations
• Experienced in building aerial infrastructure
• Experienced in using aerial lashing equipment
• Experience with troubleshooting problems as they arise in the field
• Able to read and understand schematics and construction drawings,
• Able to safely lift heavy objects
• Able to work in all weather conditions
• A strong commitment to safety
• Hold valid Driver’s Licence (Class G) and Clean Drivers Abstract
• Other duties as assigned.
