Job Description

*$1,000 Sign-On Bonus**M-F (3pm-11pm), $21 per hour*Cambria has an excellent opportunity for a motivated, organized individual seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible operating and maintaining Waterjet machinery, and keeping accurate documentation of Waterjet jobs.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Learn and apply the concepts of Cambria Waterjet work as outlined in the Waterjet SOPs
  • Monitor and verify that rough cut machinery is operating correctly
  • Perform quality checks on finished pieces
  • Interpret complex engineering drawings and sketches to plan, set up, and operate waterjet machinery
  • Utilize overhead crane to relocate slabs
  • Operate forklift to move heavy material
  • Inspect the overhead crane and forklift daily
  • Conduct visual inspections of complex waterjet equipment
  • Perform all required documentation with detail and accuracy
  • Communicate with supervisor regarding machine functionality
  • Keep work area clean and free of clutter
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Conduct all job related duties in a safe and responsible manner
  • Attend work daily, be punctual, and work the duration of a shift
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • 2+ years of machining experience preferred
  • Proficiency with basic mathematics
  • Ability to work safely and follow Standard Operating Procedures
  • Ability to become certified in using an overhead crane and forklift
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work as a team player
  • Sense of urgency in completing work
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand on concrete for the duration of a work shift
  • Ability to work extended hours and/or weekends
  • Ability to work off-shifts
