Job Description

YOU MUST BE PRESENT IN ONTARIO TO APPLYReference:- JobCart.caWe are looking for a Forklift Operator for one of our potential client located in Bolton, ONResponsibilities:

  • Operate Crown Reach forklift to move materials within the warehouse or production area
  • Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, skids, or vehicles using Crown Reach forklift
  • Perform routine maintenance on Crown Reach forklift, such as monitoring fluid levels and refueling gas, diesel, or electric power unit
  • Inspect Crown Reach forklift before each use to ensure it is in good working order
  • Follow safety regulations, including wearing protective clothing and using safety equipment as required
  • Communicate with supervisors and other personnel to report or resolve any problems affecting warehouse or production operations
  • Keep records of completed work, including location of materials and any issues that arise during the shift
  • Assist with other tasks as needed, such as packing, labeling, and preparing orders for shipment
Requirements:
  • Valid certification as a Crown Reach Forklift Operator
  • Minimum of 4 year experience operating a Crown Reach Forklift
  • Proficient in using hand-held scanners and warehouse management systems
  • Ability to lift heavy loads up to 50 pounds
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations for operating a Crown Reach Forklift
  • Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
