Learn more about this opportunity below:Responsibilities and Duties- Store and retrieve material and/or products from storage areas using appropriate equipment such as pallets, containers, pallet jacks and/or forklifts;- Perform the necessary maintenance required on material handling equipment as per written policies and procedures;- Record deviations from shop orders as required;- Enter or maintain stock location information in the stock location program;- Report and document any stock adjustments due to waste, defective material or shop order inconsistencies;- Ensure material is stored in approved areas where they are protected from damage and/or deterioration;- Ensure all materials are labeled in a clear, legible format;- Ensure non-conforming products are moved to the product segregation area;- Ensure in-process materials are packaged in order to be protected against deterioration or contamination during transportation and storage;- Maintain proper housekeeping of all storages areas;- Assess material locations and recommend options that will reduce travel.- Ensure the flow and accuracy of material necessary to support manufacturing requirements.- Identify, schedule, and work overtime where necessary.Qualifications- Some high school education preferable, minimum of grade 9 completion;- Able to read and understand work instructions;- Communicate clearly and effectively with others;- Able to work proficiently in a team-oriented setting, as well as independently;- Able to work overtime if needed;- Valid Forklift license;- Successful completion a Community College Certificate in Distribution & Handling of Materials or Business Technology in Transportation & Logistics an asset;- Supervisor experience an asset.All employees will be trained and supported throughout their journey with us to ensure the successful completion of each task.SkillsRespectAbility to work safelyDedication to a job done wellTeamworkPositivityBenefits and pay range: - Dental care- Disability insurance- Extended health care- Life insurance- On-site gym- On-site parking- Paid time off- Retirement saving plan- Vision careJob Type: Full-time, PermanentStarting salary: From $17.75 per hour following a 3-month probationary periodOvertime pay is availableAbout SystemairSystemair is a leading ventilation company that improves the indoor climate with the help of energy-efficient and sustainable products that reduce carbon dioxide emissions.Conveniently located off Highway 11 in Bouctouche Systemair Bouctouche has been a major employer in the region for 30 years.
