Enhance Energy is a privately-owned Alberta-based carbon management company. The Enhance leadership team has extensive experience in the planning and implementation of large-scale Carbon Capture and Utilization projects that permanently sequester CO2 emissions, including alternatives that utilize the CO2 for enhanced oil recovery (EOR).Since March 2020, Enhance has sequestered over 2 million tonnes of CO2 captured from the Alberta Industrial Heartland via the ACTL pipeline.Junior Operator – Innisfail Conventional OperationsLocation - Bowden, ABPosition Description:Reporting to the lead operator, responsibilities include:Day to day operation of multi well oil battery that includes gas compression and truck oil loadoutWell site operation and inspection of pumping oil wells on pump jack or ESPOperation and maintenance of pipeline systems to ensure safe and efficient operation including pigging and chemical systemsFollow safe work practices and the adherence to company policy and proceduresMonitor plant processes, collect daily operations data via live reads and SCADA systemsCollect and analyze process dataRead and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reportsAssist in the analysis, communication and reporting of field dataEnsure all production data is captured and entered into Production softwareData entry into the Enhance Energy document management systemAttend monthly safety meeting; conduct Hazard ID’s and assessments; report any operational non-conformancesAbility to lift and handle items weighing 25 lbs (including over your head) may be requiredOther tasks may include manual labour duties such as sweeping, washing, cleaning, painting, removal of unwanted materials, grass cutting, etcQualificationsMinimum of 5 years oilfield operation experienceMechanical knowledge of oilfield process systems and equipmentComputer skills (MS Office and databases)Must be able to work effectively in a team environmentMust have strong written and verbal communication skillsCompetent analytical skills with attention to detailA strong demonstrated work ethic, self-motivated and dependable with a positive attitudeAbility to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks and prioritizeValid safety certificates will be required: H2S Alive, Standard first aidOil and gas experience would be considered an asset, particularly with sour assetsOilfield working training certification ie. SAIT, Lakeland College, etc would also be considered an assetSafety SensitiveThis will be a safety sensitive role and as such you will also be required to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during required work hours.
