Housekeeper Full Timeamp; Part Time - Plus Summer Employment Opportunities Here at Patterson Kaye Resort we offer fully equipped cottage rentals that range from 1 to 12-person occupancy (studios to 5-bedroom cottages). Located on Golden Beach Road, just 10 minutes from downtown Bracebridge and right on Lake Muskoka.Students are encouraged to apply, although please note that we are unable to offer staff housing accommodations, must be local in Muskoka.Hours are between 8 am to 8 pm daily.$19 an hour to start with a performance review in the first 3 months for wage negotiation.Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide variety of cleaning duties; thoroughly cleaning cottages with great attention to detail, taking laundry, keeping housekeeping organized, cleaning the main lodge, washrooms, and occasionally our restaurant dining room.
• Ensure all cottages are cared for and adhere to our company standards.
• Utilize specific cleaning supplies where necessary (i.e. no bleach on wood surfaces and no mixing of chemicals) - WHMIS is an asset.
• Have a friendly, helpful, and caring disposition towards staff and guests.
• Notify supervisors/maintenance of any damages, deficits, or disturbances immediately.
• Deal with reasonable complaints and/or requests with professionalism and patience.
• Check stocking levels of all supplies replace them when appropriate, and notify management to order more.
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety, be aware, and comply with any company-related practices.

Requirements:

• Experience is an asset but not required- we fully train all staff to meet our standards.
• Full-time Housekeeper with experience required.
• Ability to work with little to no supervision and maintain a high level of performance with attention to detail.
• Customer-oriented and friendly.
• Excellent organization, time management, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Work quickly without compromising quality.
• WHMIS is an asset.
• Worker #39;s Health and Safety Awareness.

Working Conditions:

• We are very flexible with working around other schedules but please ensure you provide the Supervisor with a schedule at least one week in advance.
• We enjoy having a positive work environment.
• Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
