Are you looking for a career helping others Looking for a company that values passion and rewards its employees with great benefits Your search is over – a Caregiver with Home Care Assistance is the job for you!We are seeking Caregivers for community clients in the Bradford area. Shifts vary from mornings to evenings. We are seeking part-time to full-time individuals who are available to pick up shifts as needed. PSWs and DSWs are welcome to apply! Job Benefits:

  • 4 hour shift minimum
The successful candidate’s areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and personal care including eating, dressing, transferring, toileting, hygiene, grooming, and bathing as per client #39;s care plan
  • Providing medication support
  • Providing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support
  • Maintaining open communication with client and their family
  • Monitoring care plan and adding documentation with any changes and updates
  • Responding to all emergency situations
  • All other duties, as assigned
Key qualifications for this position will include, but are not limited to:
  • Valid First Aid/CPR certificate
  • Completion of a Police Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Satisfactory professional references
  • Previous working experience as a caregiver is required**
  • Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions
  • Must be able to anticipate problems and use sound judgment and tact in handling confidential matters
