About StackTeck Systems LimitedStackTeck, with over five decades of mold building innovation, is a leading source of high productivity tooling solutions for the injection molding industry. StackTeck supplies a wide range of injection molds and IML automation used to produce plastic parts in applications such as caps, closures, medical, PET preforms, and thinwall packaging; as well as complete system integrations including IML. StackTeck has dedicated R amp;D, testing and part sampling facilities, in addition to plastic part design, prototyping, engineering, and manufacturing capabilities. StackTeck Systems Ltd. is located 8 km north of Toronto’s Pearson International Airport.SUMMARYThe position of Carpenter / Shipper is multi-faceted and interacts with various StackTeck employees and Managers. In addition to the crating of goods for shipping the position will also involve distribution of components through the shop, general maintenance of tools and equipment and managing an inventory of lumber and related supplies to ensure products can be transported at any time. This position is on day shift. This position is on day shift, Monday to Friday from 6:30am to 3pm and 7:30 am to 4:00 pm during the training period.WHAT WE OFFER:

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Empty plant chip bins daily. (Forklift license required)
  • Perform Forklift safety checks each morning and update logbooks.
  • Responsible for safe crating of Molds and components, where a close working relationship with Assembly employees and Logistics Manager are essential.
  • Picture taking and logging in system of Molds/components shipped at end of shift.
  • Position will require regular loading and unloading of shipments.

  • Order and store shipping supplies to maintain stock inventory.
  • Maintain cleanliness in and around Paget 1 facility to include winter salting/clearing of snow around entry doors.
  • Maintain stock of toiletries and distribute when required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Valid G license with clear driver abstract is required.
  • Counterbalance forklift experience with valid certification or ability to renew is a required.
  • Carpentry / crate building experience is an asset
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Minimum grade 12 education or equivalent required.
  • Basic Computer skills: Excel, Word and Outlook, an asset.
