Job Description

AO Globe Life is looking for a Benefits Specialist to join our team in our fully virtual office. The Benefits Specialist is responsible for managing and administering employee benefit programs. Their main goal is to ensure that employees are aware of and able to access the benefits they are entitled to.Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and assist clients in the enrollment process for various benefits programs.
  • Help evaluate and recommend adjustments to benefit offerings, based on employee needs, market trends, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Help resolve any discrepancies or issues employees encounter with benefits providers
  • Ensure you are meeting compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with employees, vendors, and management.
  • Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage and track multiple benefits plans and maintain accurate records.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve complex issues related to claims, and benefits eligibility.
  • Knowledgeable: Understanding compliance within the company
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in analyzing benefits, costs and trends to make informed decisions.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Zoom
  • Have a professional workstation available at home to work fully remotely
  • 1 year of Benefits Specialist experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Language requirements: English Advanced
  • Qualified to work in Canada
