Students will be given the opportunity to learn about the nature of specific crimes, their consequences, and underlying root causes and their implications for primary, secondary and tertiary prevention.The course will focus on crime prevention programs and policies that have been developed in response to crime.Qualifications – Required: Master’s DegreeQualifications – Other: MA in Criminology, Criminal Justice, or a cognate discipline (e.g. Sociology, Psychology, MSW) with a focus on crime or deviance. Work experience in the field is an asset, as is prior teaching experience.
