As a General Labourer, you will:

  • Get dirty and have fun doing it!
  • Assist the Supervisor in setting up sites efficiently and safely, including vacuum hoses, pumps, and safety equipment;
  • Clean out confined spaces including waste water holding tanks, pump stations and other tanks at wastewater treatment plants and processing facilities;
  • Support and assist the Supervisor with paperwork such as Confined Space Entry Permits, Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports and all other required paperwork.
  • Driving company vehicles back and forth from job sites across southern Ontario;
  • Be involved in helping other departments across Wessuc fulfill their objectives.
About YouIn this role, no prior experience is necessary, but some of the things we look for are:
  • High school education;
  • Valid G or G2 license in good standing;
  • Eagerness to learn and explore new concepts;
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, work may include 12+ hours days.

  • Competitive wages starting at $22/hr.
  • Opportunity to earn $50,000 - $70,000 annually, working full time with shift premiums and overtime;

  • Opportunities to earn overtime pay, which is paid after 44 hrs. per week;
