Job Description

Job DescriptionDeer Run is a home renovation company based in Lynden Ontario that has been operating for over 35 years. We are looking for an experienced Home Improvement Installer that will be responsible for installing soffit, facia, siding products, and other home finishes.If you are a hard-working, ambitious, and committed individual who is looking for an opportunity to develop specialized skills in the construction industry we encourage you to apply.Duties & Functions

  • Safe setup, handling and operation of hand / power tools, ladders and other equipment
  • Cut, handle, and form new materials fit to job specifications
  • Installment and finishing of Eaves, Soffit, Fascia, Siding of various materials
  • Maintaining a clean and safe job site
  • Learn new skills of the trade as they are taught to you
  • Work in various weather condition with a positive attitude
  • Proper use of PPE and other safety equipment
  • All other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum 3- 5 yrs experience is required
  • Experience in installing James Hardie siding required
  • Eavestrough, fascia and soffit installation experience are considered an asset.
  • Carpentry Experience is an asset
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and workmanship
  • Working at various heights training is considered an asset but not required
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and mode of transportation

Compensation
  • Company benefits – Health Care Spending account.
  • Salary – $ 30- $35/hr - Pay based on experience and capabilities
