The diversity of our talents is what makes our work environment multicultural, innovative and highly rewarding.About the Role:As a Human Resources Coordinator you will provide support for critical initiatives and day to day responsibilities relating to recruitment and selection, organizational development, administration and HR Reporting. You will also get an opportunity to assist and advise employees about Human Resources policies and procedures alongside the Senior Human Resources Specialists. This is a fantastic opportunity to get exposure to HR in Ferreros largest manufacturing centre in North America, with a dynamic team in a growing enivronment.This position reports to the Senior Human Resources Specialist.Main Responsibilities:Employee Tracking and Reporting

  • Maintain employee databases
  • SAP entries including new hires, changes, terminations, etc. and completing required forms for Payroll
  • Monitor databases for employee probationary reviews, salary/wage changes, contract end dates, background checks, expiring SINs and ensure changes are communicated to payroll
  • Prepare various monthly headcount and turnover reports
  • Prepare and review time and attendance reports for temporary agencies
  • Update and ensure accuracy of local group data in SAP/HR enterprise
Organizational Development
  • Assist with preparation and maintaining job descriptions
  • Coordinate and participate in various salary surveys and conduct market research as required
  • Update and/or develop policies as needed
Recruitment and Selection
  • Assist with screening hourly and salary candidates, conducting online and in person interviews, reference checks and employment offers
  • Post jobs on ATS and maintain database
  • Assist with orientation sessions and onboarding process
  • Attend job fairs as required
Employee Relations
  • Provide guidance and interpretation of policy and legislation to employees and managers
  • Assist HR Specialists with general human resources practices and procedures
Employee Development and Training
  • Assist with organizing and participating in employee training sessions as required
Employee Communication
  • Generating and sending out Internal Communications
  • Assist with company driven programs or committees and fulfill duties as required
  • Assist with development and maintenance of the digital boards/signage
Other Projects
  • Assist with implementation of new human resources programs and initiatives
  • Assist with Employee programs such as; Recognition programs, service awards, retirements, and other programs as required
Quality and Food Safety
  • Ensure all program requirements/standards regarding quality and food safety are implemented, practiced and maintained
Who we are looking for:
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • 1-3 years experience in Human Resources in a manufacturing setting considered a strong asset
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and practices.
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft MS environment including Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitive information.
  • Familiarity with Human Resource Information Systems and payroll systems
  • Knowledge of payroll and benefits
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced team environment
