The incumbent will perform general warehouse duties including; shipping/receiving, picking and packing orders, processing orders (where applicable) in the system, and other warehouse related job tasks as assigned.Key AccountabilitiesOperate a forklift to move material through facility as required.Provide materials and components to the picking line by physically moving them from stock points along the line, off trailers, and from other storage areas.ResponsibilitiesInteract with coordinators to work as a team when shipping and receiving.Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)Maintaining the required hygiene, safety and quality standardsActively communicate with supervisors and manager to effectively handle material and notify them of problems/concerns.Properly document work performed.Assist in the effective completion of inventory audits.Stacks skids or pallets in designated areas.Sign applicable driver documentation as requiredPromote a clean, safe and positive work environment.Other tasks as assignedAll of the above major duties and responsibilities require the ability to be mobile in an industrial environment, to communicate effectively, organize effectively, with varying degrees of independence, judgment, and discretion.Skills, Experience & QualificationsProven communication skills both Written and Verbal (English)Ability to follow instructions and work independentlyAble to work in a fast pace environmentStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a solid team environmentEducation, Technical Qualifications, Experience and Competencies Proficiency LevelRequiredHigh School Diploma / G.E.DClear criminal background check (or has received a pardon)Must hold a valid forklift operator license (Counterbalance, Walkie, Raymond Reach) from a recognized training providerMinimum one year experience as a forklift driverPreferredMechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to equipmentPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
