Job Description

Were proud of our Canadian heritage and have built our business on a foundation of innovative products, technical expertise and above all else—first-rate customer service.SCOPE: Reporting to the Technical Services Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring customer requirements for parts and Equipment are met and all aspects of the Parts and Equipment Inventory.JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Receive customer orders for Parts and/or Equipment and enter them into Quick Books
  • Prepare paperwork for Domestic and International Shipments of Parts/ Equipment including invoices, bill of lading, shipping labels and packing lists.
  • Maintain stock room of Parts/ Equipment
  • Perform Quarterly inventory checks of Parts room and all sales representatives’ stock.
  • Order Parts/Equipment for inventory or special orders as required.
  • Receive, put away and complete all paperwork for parts and equipment.
  • Liaison with customers to ensure all their parts and equipment needs are met.
  • Process Warranty claims for Parts and Equipment.
  • Trouble shoot with foam applicators that are experiencing technical and foam related problems
  • Promote proper application Techniques, equipment and site maintenance in accordance with relevant building codes (Canada and USA)
  • Work hand in hand with Elastochem’s developmental team by providing feedback on foam system performance in the field
  • Record keeping of customer complaints.
  • Advising managers about issues relating to products, installations or installers
  • Follow all rules and procedures established at Elastochem Specialty Chemicals Inc.
  • Attend all training sessions and work in accordance with the requirements of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
  • Other duties as assigned by Technical Service Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience managing a parts department
  • Minimum 2 years Customer Service and Shipping Experience
  • Fully Fluent in English
  • Good math skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience using Word, Excel, and Quick Books
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail Oriented
NICE TO HAVE:
  • Minimum college diploma in business field or equivalent experience
  • SAP
