Job Description

Rope Splicing Tech - Training ProvidedJob Title: Rope Splicing Tech - Training ProvidedSalary: $17- $21 an hourJob Type: Full-timeMonday - Friday, 8:30 AM to 5 PM.Number of hires for this role: 2 - starting immediatelyList Summary: This position requires the technician to use hand tools and machinery to create rope terminations. The selected candidate needs to have significant attention to detail and be physically fit to perform the job.Position Responsibilities:

  • Use hand tools and machinery to manipulate rope product to create rope terminations
  • Quality check all products to ensure it is in compliance with Maple Leaf Ropes and the rope manufacturers specifications and standards
  • Follow all inventory processes
  • Ensure customer requests and expectations are met
  • Produce quality product in a timely manner
  • Ensure that splicing area is kept clean and free of safety hazards
Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma
  • Ability to work independently
  • Physically fit for the job - please see below
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience working in a manufacturing and/or production environment preferred
