Digital Services, Business Development LeadAre you looking to take your technology services sales expertise to the next level We are looking for an outstanding sales executive to assume the role of a Business Development Director who excels in the digital professional services space . You will be responsible for growing our business by bringing in new clients, by leading the entire process for lead generation, opportunity qualification, business development, and sales.Who You Are:- 5+ years experience in business development with digital services agencies and a passion for selling professional services for enterprise-level financial services clients.- Excellent understanding of digital services and sales cycle.- Takes full ownership by taking a deal through the entire sales cycle, including proposal, contract negotiation, finalizing SOWs, and winning/closing the deal.- Experience working with partners and co-selling digital platforms (i.e. Adobe, Salesforce, Elastic Path, etc.) services, including advisory, integration, and customization professional services.- An individual super-contributor, a seasoned business development professional with a can-do, proactive approach.- Technology savvy, dialled in, passionate about the latest technology trends.- Strong communication skills, both oral and written and the ability to engage with clients professionally in a variety of mediums.- Operates with the highest level of personal and professional integrity.- A strategic, thoughtful, and action-oriented executive who can positively influence the company #39;s organization.What you will be doing:- Align and pitch Aequilibrium digital services to senior executives (C-level or VPs) in medium and large organizations across various industry verticals (e.g. retail, entertainment, financial services, etc.).- Generate leads and prospects for potential customers using various direct sales methods and best practices and drive the opportunities to closure.- Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement (proposal, discovery, contract negotiation, drafting contracts) to closed sales, using various sales techniques.- Coordinate, quarterback, and deliver client presentations to sell our company #39;s offering.- Work with our partner channels to identify and develop new business opportunities.- Identify new business opportunities and expand our impact with current clients.- Build an individual business plan based on the organization #39;s sales strategy and the assigned targets and execute accordingly.Who you are working with:- Reporting directly to the CEO, you will have a direct line of sight of the business strategy and priorities and the ability to influence the company #39;s strategic direction directly.- Partnering closely with Aequilibrium #39;s Marketing department for all sales-related activities.Nice to have:- Financial services and/or regulated environment client experienceEducation- Bachelor #39;s degree, preferably in technology, business, or finance.Location- Situated in Vancouver to meet up with our Vancouver-based marketing team occasionally.- While Aequilibrium is remote, we host in-person engagement events per quarter.- Ability to travel to on-site client meetings in Canada, the United States, and Europe occasionally.- Ability to travel to conferences and sales-related events in Canada, the United States, and Europe as needed.- Ability to travel (drive/commute) and meet with potential clients (coffee/lunch/dinners) on the road most of the time.Compensation:The compensation for this position is in the range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year. Salary offered will be based on skills, experience, and market data. The total compensation range of a base and commission total compensation when reaching the on-target quota is $200,000- $300,000 annual salary.
