About the role:We’re looking for a Graphic Design Intern to join our team! You’ll work closely with our Communications team to help build awareness and reputation for the Jerry brand throughout social channels, as well as internal and external communications. If you are seeking a well-rounded graphic design internship, thrive in fast-paced remote work environments and have the desire to experience working at a start-up, this may be the role for you. This is a part-time, paid, remote internship, starting in January 2023.What You’ll Do:
  • Create concepts and execute on briefs for our website, social media channels, internal channels, and infographics
  • Design illustrations for Instagram, social video thumbnails and graphics, and other internal and external communications needs
  • Deliver a steady cadence of visual assets for our communications team
  • Maintain a cohesive style and aesthetic across all platforms
Who you are:
  • You are experienced with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or Figma/clean digital illustration.
  • You have some experience creating 2D animation
  • You have a good understanding of design principles (hierarchy, color theory, etc)
  • You can pivot quickly in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • You have a willingness to explore new ideas and work in collaborative spaces with constructive feedback
  • You have a portfolio showcasing your best work
  • You are available to work at least 20 hours a week
