Job Description

You’re an all-in-one marketing pro who can confidently manage the entire marketing and communications portfolio for a global company. You’re able to execute important big-picture needs – like developing long-term strategy and effecting organizational change – while staying on top of urgent day-to-day details. Setting up CRM tools, establishing brands, creating websites, curating content, arranging events, brainstorming webinars, you do it all with excellence. And, ideally, you gained your expertise within the architecture, engineering and/or construction industries. We’re pleased to partner with our client – an award-winning design firm specializing in building beautiful structures – in their search for a Marketing Manager. This individual must be an exceptional communicator who’s passionate about creating and carrying out innovative marketing and communications activities that elevate the company’s presence within their industry.About the workplace This is a hybrid role that requires working from the Fraser Valley-based headquarters at least 3 days a week, once the initial in-office training period is completed.About the role

  • Manage and lead day-to-day marketing efforts with internal staff and key external agency relationships
  • Create and manage the marketing strategy, activity calendar and budget
  • Lead and oversee the activities of the marketing coordinators
  • Communicate with internal team members and senior management on strategy and progress
  • Nurture key relationships with industry partners
  • Establish a marketing plan, including sector analysis, identifying target audiences and creating a customized go-to-market strategy for each sector
  • Develop and manage marketing materials (e.g., project tear sheets, resumes, RFP/proposal development, etc.)
  • Manage a variety of communications channels/projects including traditional, digital, social, PR, email and client communication
  • Curate, manage and coordinate content across all channels including project video, photography and insights
  • Develop and manage educational and webinar programs for industry colleagues, lead award submissions and other activities to showcase the firm’s insights and abilities
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback, market trends, and conduct market analysis to enable successful strategies across all platforms for future campaigns
  • Develop and manage marketing/sales KPIs
  • Develop and promote a consistent company brand, including key messages and guidelines, both internally and externally
  • Lead the management and coordination of a new website, working with appropriate agencies, web developers, internal stakeholders, etc.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and management of CRM software
  • Support sales efforts through communications, attending tradeshows, arranging events, and following up with prospective clients and partners
About you
  • 5+ years of related marketing and communications experience in a similar role
  • Post-secondary education in business, marketing or equivalent
  • Proven experience working in a B2B professional service environment establishing best practices in sales funnel/CRM systems
  • Experience developing and executing marketing communications strategies and brand development plans
  • Proven ability to build new relationships and foster existing relationships within and outside of your organization at a senior level
  • Naturally communicative and engaging
  • Experience setting up, using and optimizing CRM systems, website CMS, and Google Analytics
  • Experience in content marketing (e.g., social media management, photo and video content for web and social media, email marketing)
  • Able to proactively think beyond the day-to-day tactics and effect change within an organization
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with great attention to detail and ability to write engaging technical narrative
  • Knowledge of the construction industry and mass timber market is an asset
