The incumbent is responsible for analysing and maintaining site inventory requirements and subsequent activities related to this function. This person is accountable for inventory accuracy, maintaining the integrity of all the products and performing all tasks related to Group standards and procedures.What you will be doing

  • Execute 4S Fiori applications associated with purchasing, inventory, logistics.
  • Performing stock-takes a required by Orica Group Standards
  • Maintain inventory at levels that achieve service level and inventory turnover ratio objectives.
  • Support Browsburg site with monthly cycle count and reconciliation.
  • Troubleshoot inventory variances and enter PIDs in Inventory Database with required supporting data, explanation of discrepancy, actions required and accuracy percentage calculation.
  • Work in alliance with Customer Service to ensure timely resolution of inventory discrepancies impacting on time invoicing.
  • Work cohesively with peers and Inventory Manager at reducing Slow Moving and Obsolete Stock ( SLOBS)
  • Actively participate and adhere to process optimization strategies
  • To act in conformity to Orica policies including and not limited to Delegation of Authority Matrix.
  • Responsible for the Goods Receipts of all products arriving to the warehouse following the required procedures
  • Ensure that the products within the warehouse are not damaged, lost or mishandled
  • Perform all tasks following Health and Safety as a top priority
  • Ensure that all legal requirements for dangerous goods storage are met at all times
  • Perform all picking and packing activities from production to placement in the warehouse
  • Implement best practices and look for opportunities to improve efficiency, increase safety within the warehouse and reduce costs for the organization
What you will bring
  • BS/ BA/ OA degrees or equivalent
  • Bilingual in French and English
  • Experience with Hazardous Materials
  • 3-5 years of relevant supply chain experience and or / equivalent education
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain technologies including ERP, data warehouse, planning, and logistics
  • SAP or 4S Hanna experience required
  • High integrity
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally when or if required, post Covid - 19.
