Candidates with the ability to to match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. The Accounts Payable Clerk role is a permanent position based in the Burlington, Ontario area. This exciting opportunity could advance your career.Your responsibilities in this role- Facilitate internal and external audits as needed- Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling- Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time- Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks- Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners- Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents- Operate full-cycle A/P- Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis- Carry out additional projects as requiredJob Requirements:- Minimum two years experience in a high volume A/P role - Highly organized and self-motivated- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds- Previous experience in Property Management preferred- Experience with Yardi- Proven knowledge of QuickBooks an asset- Knowledge of Vendor Inquiries- Coding Invoices experience preferred- General familiarity with general ledgerRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
