Job Description

Adi Development Group is looking for an experienced Assistant Site Superintendent to join our growing Construction team.The Assistant Site Superintendent will be leading, managing and coordinating the efforts of construction team members and third-party suppliers, sub contractors and consultants. You will get insight into the intricate operations and execution of high profile real estate development projects in one of the most innovative and fastest growing companies in the industry.   • Supervising the construction project and all the operations on the site
  • Ensure construction compliance with design requirements and project construction schedule by supervising and coordinating site trades, other site management, field engineering and construction activities
  • Partner with the Quality Control team to ensure that the quality of work and materials is upheld
  • Monitoring all subcontractors and labourers and the progress of the project and report as required
  • Tracking/logging daily manpower on site
  • Ensuring that the health and safety project plans are implemented and followed
  • Ensuring that the budget is adhered to; work with the Project Manager in managing all Division 1 costs
  • Monitor and update project schedules and ensure that the look-ahead schedules are all followed and provide updates
  • Work with city officials and ministry of labour on the standard requirements for the site
  • Writing project progress records and logs
  • Ensuring construction documents are organized and maintained
  • Ordering materials as needed
  • Tracking and monitoring all equipment and tool rentals used on-site
  • Mentor project team members to ensure career growth and development
What You Bring
  • Construction-related degree and a minimum of 3 years of related construction experience
  • Have all necessary certifications like Working at Heights, WHIMIS, First Aid and Supervision competency
  • Strong knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control and engineering drawings
  • Ability to identify potential risks, determine root cause, develop actionable solutions in order to meet project milestones and budget requirements
  • Experience in developing and mentoring team members
  • A valid G driver’s license, access to a vehicle
Nice to Have Experience/Skills
  • Have taken courses or certifications in project management or have PMP designation
