Job Description

Full Job DescriptionLogistics Hiring Manager (Day Shift)Position: Hiring Manager (Oakville/Burlington). We are looking for a full-time Hiring Manager for our Oakville/ Burlington location. The hiring manager will be responsible for hiring drivers, forklift operators, mechanics, and dispatchers.Responsibilities:

  • Identifying areas of employment vacancies within the company
  • Creating job advertisements
  • Filtering through applications and inviting qualified candidates to interviews
  • Conducting interviews, tests (i.e driving test), and reviewing if applicants have all the required documents needed for the position (i.e drivers license, clean abstract)
  • Sign contracts and work with the legal department when hiring candidates
  • Conduct proper training on newly hired individuals regarding company protocols and health and safety requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in the transportation industry and/or previous holding of a commercial driving license is an asset.
  • Knowledge of MS Office is a must.
Salary: $70,000 -$80,000 and can go up based on progress and skills. Benefits:
