Job Description

If this describes you, we’d like to hear from you!Why is this Role ImportantFull Time Deli Clerk - Replacing a leave as per Article 2.04 b of the Collective AgreementDuties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring exceptional customer service is provided in a courteous manner to maintain our reputation for friendly, effective, and personalized experience.
  • To be responsible for the preparation, displaying and maintenance of the Deli department;
  • To serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner;
  • To respond to any customer inquiries, requests and complaints ensuring courteous customer relations at all times;
  • To assist the department manager in the training and direction of part time staff;
  • To maintain the department in the absence of the department manager;
  • To ensure that the safety and sanitation of the department meet with Company policies and standards;
  • Other general duties, as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate Would Possess:
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ deli experience;
  • Excellent product knowledge and knowledge of deli operations
  • Flexibility to work a variety of hours which include days, evenings and weekends;
  • Must have excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
