The Deployment Team builds and deploys hardware and software according to business needs, which vary in complexity due to the nature of the different departments. The Deployment Analyst builds and deploys various technology, provides support on new deployments, and assists with managing the hardware inventory in the Integration Centre. It is the second of four progressive levels in Deployment Analyst roles, based on increased complexity of builds and associated support, along with accompanying required experience.Technologies you have experience with:

  • You have experience with build solutions: Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), Microsoft Autopilot, System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM), Microsoft inTune.
What you’re responsible for:
  • Collaborate with the Deployment Specialist and other technical teams to determine optimal solution for client needs.
  • Build, configure, test, and deploy various technology located in the Integration Centre, including all hardware and software that meet the businesses changing needs.
  • Build, configure, and test field office servers, including priority replacements.
  • Refurbish existing hardware, including placing and completing warranty work directly with Dell. Complete and document stress testing and confirm equipment is ready for deployment.
  • Provide support in the Business Recovery Process (BRP), when it is scheduled, including consultation for developing workstation requirements, building, updating and supporting the workstation during BRP.
  • Provide and maintain inventory counts of all hardware in the Integration Centre and request orders as required.
  • Ensure the safety and security of a financially significant amount of hardware inventory located in the Integration Centre.
  • Adhere to technical platform management standards, processes, and guidelines.

  • You will travel occasionally.
  • Frequent movement, moderate exertion and the ability to lift or move up to 30 lbs is required.
  • Detail oriented work that requires a high degree of mental concentration for extended periods of time.
  • You will be subject to a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.

  • Some post-secondary or industry equivalent technical training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-3 years’ work experience in deployments for a mid to large professional organization, with practical experience implementing and supporting Windows environments technical competencies.
