Embedding DEI in everything we do at JBH is an identified goal in our 2023-26 Strategic Plan.Reporting to the Director, Human Resources and Employee Health, the Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Consultant will enable a respectful work environment for all by delivering initiatives that meet our DEI Strategy Objectives. The successful candidate will apply project management methodology with deep knowledge and experience in Diversity Equity and Inclusion programs. Working in partnership with the Human Resources. Employee Health and Organizational Development teams and the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Action Table (DEIAT), they will execute projects to successful completion and support the organization in complying with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA), including supporting the implementation of the Accessibility Plan action items to meet AODA compliance milestones. The Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Consultant will possess superior interpersonal, teamwork and conflict management skills, and is a skilled facilitator who can bring people to the table and create a brave space for open, insightful dialogue that propels our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion work forward.
