Job Description

Seeking skilled carpenter / with 2 years experience.We are not looking for general contractors, foreman or site supervisors at this time. This is a FULL-TIME, or PART-FULL TIME position, with 3 month probation period. Pay increases are fair, competitive, and based upon people that show commitment, an interest in learning and knowledge retention. Typical raises are $1 dollar per year in the industry, based on performance.After 6 months successful employment. I please ask the person applying to be the same.Minimum skills required: PLEASE READ!-ROUGH CARPENTRY / FRAMING SKILLS IS A MUST. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME FAKING IT TO MAKE IT. THERE WILL BE AN SITE WORKING INTERVIEW FOR THIS. I WILL BE ASKING MANY BASIC QUESTIONS ABOUT FRAMING AND ITS TECHNIQUES.-how to hold and use a measuring tape, be able to call out and receive fractional measurements i.e. 7/16 s, 7/8 s, otherwise known as having proficiency without having to count the lines of a tape measure!-FOR YOUR SAFETY AND FOR MY STAFF, YOU SHOULD BE IN GOOD SHAPE, WOOD BEAMS, WALLS AND TRUSSES IS BY FAR THE HEAVIEST MATERIALS YOU WILL CARRY WHILE BUILDING A HOME. YOU SHOULD ALSO KNOW THE CORRECT PROCEDURE OF CARRYING PLYWOOD TO CUTTING HEAVY LVLS.-ability to use many common rough and finishing tools from reciprocating saws to cordless framing nailers, to 7/16 crown staplers.-higher pay will be given to tradesmen that have begun to interpret basic drawings, or with an ability to work autonomously / by themselves, finesse and precision.If interestedPlease send your resumeI will contact the email or phone number you provide to request an interview or working interview.Thank you for your interestJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePart-time hours: 40 per weekSalary: $18.00-$25.00 per hourBenefits:
