Job Description

Location:5111 New Street, Burlington, Ontario, L7L 1V2Friendly & Energetic, with a passion for food and commitment to our customers. If this describes you, we’d like to hear from you!Why is this Role ImportantDuties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring exceptional customer service is provided in a courteous manner to maintain our reputation for friendly, effective, and personalized experience.
  • To stock shelves according to planograms which includes the rotation and possible pricing of product;
  • To build grocery displays under the directions of the department or store manager;
  • To face merchandise, re-organize displaced items and product labels to ensure neat and attractive aisles;
  • To respond to any customer inquiries and requests, ensuring courteous customer relations at all times;
  • To implement the opening and closing functions of the store when required;
  • To assist in maintaining a clean and organized selling floor and back room, adhering to established health and safety regulations as per Company policies;
  • To perform other duties as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate Would Possess:
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Candidate must have 3 years’ previous experience working in a retail grocery environment with good product knowledge;
  • Flexibility to work a variety of hours, including days, evenings and weekends;
  • Proven ability to handle responsibilities and achieve work objectives;
  • We are looking for a responsible and dependable individual;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
