Job Description

We are excited to invite you to apply at our Burlington Treasure Hunt store!Treasure Hunt is a junior department store and we sell brand name merchandise at 30% to 80% off regular retail prices and always have new deals for our valued customers!Responsibilities:

  • You will work on a team of energetic associates to merchandise products, perform cashier duties, and provide personalized customer service to our valued customers
  • The primary responsibility of a furniture builder is to use both hand and power tools to join components of a furniture piece together.
  • Most builds are pre-boxed items with instructions.
  • Depending on the specific piece, the process can include building a sofa or dresser.
  • It may be attaching hardware to pieces such as dressers.
  • There may be times where you will be required to think outside the box as instructions may be missing.
  • Maintain a clean appearance of a well organized store
  • Knowledge of merchandise
  • Reports and collaborates with Management for daily builds.
Requirements:
  • Energetic, honest & friendly
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Prior retail experience is an asset
  • Must be willing to work open to close, weekends and evening shifts
  • Must be able to lift 25+ lbs
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Own tools preferred, however not essential.
  • Must have Steel toes
  • Excellent time Management skills essential
  • Self starter and highly motivated
  • Strong Merchandising skills an asset.
