Job Description

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Intermediate Municipal Engineer or Technologist to join our team, with a focus on road design and municipal infrastructure projects. In this role, you #39;ll have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of urban and rural construction and reconstruction projects, including roads, watermains, and storm and sanitary sewer systems. You #39;ll have the chance to participate in our hybrid work model, which offers flexible hours. This position can be based in either our Burlington or Mississauga offices.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide design support for urban and rural road construction and reconstruction projects, including local and regional roads.
  • Contribute to the design of watermains, stormwater management systems, and sanitary sewers.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless coordination between various aspects of design and construction. This includes working with environmental, structural, and other engineering disciplines.
  • Assist in the preparation of tender documents, technical specifications, and support in the construction phases of projects.
  • Participate in environmental assessments and regulatory compliance processes as they relate to road and infrastructure projects.
  • Ensure that designs meet required codes, standards, and regulations, while also adhering to project timelines and budgets.
  • Utilize Civil3D and/or InRoads/OpenRoads to prepare detailed engineering designs, drawings, and reports.
