Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing various help desk support services to our main facility, remote offices and Remote Business Development teams throughout the world
  • Setup / Troubleshoot / Repair / Upgrade desktop and laptop computers.
  • Triaging and responding to calls and emails from users and tickets generated by our monitoring software
  • Utilizing our advanced documentation system to facilitate closing tickets and record keeping.
  • Ability to adapt to situations involving clients with unique hardware and software requirements.
  • Manage Telephone and in-person support.
  • Network User & Group security management.
  • Ability to participate in a support schedule that includes after hours and weekend support.
Please note that the selected candidate will need to travel to our Don Mills location twice a week.QualificationsQualifications
  • 3 - 4 years’ experience in in a help desk environment in a support capacity.
  • College Diploma (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Additional Skills
  • Troubleshoot PC Hardware and Software
  • Install / Configure / Support
  • Windows 10 Professional environment
  • Support Office 2016, Outlook 2016
  • Troubleshoot client networking issues (both LAN & Wi-Fi)
  • Work in Team Environment
  • Ability to Follow Procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A strong customer service oriented attitude
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Experience with the following would be an asset:
o Active Directoryo Exchange 2016o Web Design and associated toolso Citrixo Nortel and Shortel PBX administrationo Support for Android and iOS deviceso VMwareo Linux
  • Basic knowledge of audio/video troubleshooting and support
  • Knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
