Job Description

Who we are looking for…

  • Someone who loves to consume YouTube and has an eye for what is trending and how to elevate videos to create a more cinematic experience
Job Tasks
  • Follow YouTube trends and keep up to date with new ideas and ways we can better tell stories through video
  • Editing experience, ideally (but not exclusively) with Final Cut Pro or Premier
  • Knowledgeable about cameras and audio equipment
  • Filming experience
  • Can communicate and conceptualize with other team members
  • Familiar with YouTube’s backend settings
  • Can edit and prepare cutdown teasers formatted for other platforms such as TikTok and Instagram
Qualifications
  • Post secondary education not required, but a keen interest and ability of video editing, filming and digital storytelling necessary
  • We will need to see examples of work and portfolio
  • Ability to work and communicate well within a team and with clients
  • Must be well organized and a self starter who has a keen eye for detail
  • Strong time management skills
  • Must be local to the Burlington area and have a valid drivers licence to travel to different clients in surrounding areas as-needed
