Job Description

The Laundry Attendant is a position integral to the success of the hotel and the maintenance of the facility. This position should be filled by someone who gains incredible satisfaction from looking at spotless, wrinkle-free linens and who loves clean laundry! The ideal candidate understands the importance of maintaining meticulous standards in a luxury hotel and possesses excellent guest service skills.Evening shifts are scheduled from 3-11:30pmWhat makes you the perfect candidate:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Sort laundry into specific classifications for preparation of washing according to established standards and procedures.
  • Pre-treat any spots on dirty linens, towels, robes, etc.
  • Safely and efficiently operate the wash machines, dryers, and irons.
  • Press linens and fold according to demonstrated pattern.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and organized work area.
  • Ensure par levels of towels, linens, etc are replenished and ready for use in the guest rooms and spa.
  • Monitor equipment for damage and notify Housekeeping Supervisor or Maintenance.
